Help us celebrate the 50th anniversary of Redwood National Park at our 4th annual Rock the Redwoods fundraising concert. Proceeds from the event support educational projects and programs throughout our north coast public lands.
We'll have two bands: Ghost Train and The Gatehouse Well. We'll have beer available from Mad River Brewing Co. and a selection of wines from Barefoot Wine.
Tickets will be available at Wildberries for $15.00, or at the door the night of the event for $18.00. Online here.
Rock the Redwoods is sponsored by Redwood Parks Conservancy, a local non-profit supporting educational and stewardship projects in our redwood parks. Proceeds from the event will help us support understaffed and underfunded projects and programs including restoration work, visitor services, and infrastructure maintenance. The Conservancy hosts several community events throughout the year, including the Candlelight Walk and Prairie Creek Run, that connect individuals and families to their magnificent redwood parks.
Rock The Redwoods is the only event scheduled outside of the parks themselves. We are trying to involve the community as much as possible in supporting California's Redwoods for future generations. Even though park visitation has steadily risen over the past few years, the park budget itself continues to be limited. Anything we can do to help preserve this magnificent heritage will be greatly appreciated by the world and future generations. Money raised by this event will greatly assist our cause in a myriad of ways.
The event will include a silent auction, wine & beer, and two great local bands playing music ranging from Irish Folk to Funk. See you there.
