"A Woman's Place is in Her Home " Northern California Tour
Please take this opportunity to support the Arcata Playhouse, Arcata House Partnership and Food For People to get this show on the road. Our play, "A Woman’s Place is in Her Home” is an exploration of women experiencing the largely unplanned, unpredictable realities of housing insecurity. It premiered last Spring in Humboldt county to sold out houses, grown ups weeping and standing ovations. Activists, audiences and community members have donated enough funds to get us started to bring this spectacular performance to several rural, North Coast cities. Getting sets, lights, and sound equipment, along with our cast and crew of 15 on the road is no easy enterprise and we remain audacious in our commitment to bring perspective to the challenges unhoused women encounter and narrow the gap between those with places they can call home and those who do not. We need you now to please contribute and make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.
Help us promote and develop theater and performance arts for everyone!
