I recently saw a wonderful show at the Morris Graves that I think would lend itself to the Arcata Playhouse. It was called The Angels Wings, created by Rabbi Naomi Steinberg and her son, musician Berel Alexander.

They performed it upstairs in the creamery building a couple of years ago to a packed audience. The performance at the Morris Graves was also full.

It’s theater and music; it’s sweet, moving and funny, mystical and fantastic.

I’m interested in seeing it for a third time (it gets better each time!) and I know it would be a success at your venue.

I’m so disappointing. I had company in from out of town and we arrived at the playhouse on Sept 9th for the Puppet Slam only to find something else was going on. We grabbed a list of what was going on while we were there and saw that it was scheduled for the 16th. After I got home I checked your facebook calendar and saw that it indeed said it was on the 9th. Your mistake. Oh well we came back tonight on the 16th. Building locked up tight. Sigh. Your website has it as being in October. Your Facebook says it was on the 9th. Your brochure says it is the 16th and 17th. I’m very frustrated. My company and I had to ride there twice only to be disappointed both times. This is my first and second experience with your playhouse. I think you owe me an apology and maybe some comp tickets to a show of my choice.

Is Ferndale Rep putting on “All My Sons” at Arcata Playhouse next February? A while back I read somewhere that it is, but I don’t anything about it on either your website or Ferndale Reps.

We signed our grandson, Calvin Salazar, up for the summer clown workshop based on the online info that the class was open to kids 6-9 years old. Today, when we got the registration sheet, it states that the class is for kids 7-10. Calvin will be turning 6 on 6/21 and the clown class is meant as a birthday gift from us. I hope he can be included in the class at age 6.

Well if you’re not going to answer the phone – I’m not going to donate (except maybe my worn out sneakers)… Won two tickets to see Willy Porter tonight from KHSU and wanted to bring 2 more but I can’t seem to find a way to make a reservation for such as your 5 days outdated phone message required… I’m not going to ask my friends to just “show up” so I guess I’ll have an empty seat next to me instead…. Poor Willy!!
