Playhouse Arts offers a mobile art service! The Wonder Wagon travels to local elementary school parking lots and community centers to deliver art packets with information about music, dance, and craft to hubs around Northern Humboldt.

Workshops
Playhouse Arts offers youth Spring and Summer workshops in creative theater-making with a variety of focuses including mask, puppetry, pageant performance, clowning, and more.
Family Fun Series Field Trips
Every Spring Playhouse Arts partners with the California Arts Council and the Humboldt County office of Education to provide low-cost field trips to international performances at our theater.
Skue-yech Son-ee-nah
Playhouse Arts and Yurok Wellness have combined efforts to offer a workshop for K-12 children across the county. Pairing Yurok storytelling with Shadow Puppetry, groups gather for ten, one hour classes with students: one opening class with a Yurok story teller introducing the story and the rest with Playhouse Teaching Artist directing the creation of the play.
Apprentice Entertainment
Playhouse Art’s teen program, Apprentice Entertainment, is a free teen after school program that meets once a week at the Playhouse.
Artists in Schools
Playhouse Arts partners with the California Arts Council and local schools to bring teaching-artist to K-6th classrooms in Blue Lake, Eureka, Arcata, Freshwater and Fieldbrook. Workshops include, mask-making, mask movement, shadow puppetry, clown and more.
