The Playhouse is a wonderful place to hold an event. Whether it is a private party, meeting, music concert, theatre production, school event or workshop, we are happy to work with you for a successful gathering.

The theater is equipped with sound and lights, a video projector and screen with a seating capacity of 150. Theater seats are fixed on risers. Floor seats and some riser seats are moveable. Three 3 x 6 tables are available and 8-10 round café tables.

Basic Event Rental Fees:
$300 on weekdays
$400 on weekends
$500 for a live streamed event
These rates are for an 8-hour period (e.g. 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.) and include access to our service kitchen/concessions area and box office, as well as a listing on our website. If your event or performance requires more than 8 hours of rental time, we can provide an additional hourly rate to meet your needs.
$40/hour for rehearsals, workshops or meetingsInsurance per event: $50 (unless supplied by renter) Security deposit: $100. (Returned in full providing the Playhouse has been left clean and undamaged) Full rental fee is expected at the time of booking.
Additional Services:
Light/sound/video operator: $25/hour minimum, depending on needs
Box office or concessions staff: $25/hour
Ticket sales through the Arcata Playhouse website: $50
