Summer Youth Workshops! June 24 -28
For 6-9 year olds:
9 am - 12 noon Clowning for Kids, Taught by Tricia Riel
12:30 pm - 3:30 pm Fantastic Fairy Tales, Taught by Amy Tetzlaff
For 10 - 14 year olds:
9 am - 12 noon Improv in Action, Taught by the Unscripted Sutras (HSU's improv team)
12:30 pm - 3:30 pm Commedia Dell Arte' and Mask Performance, Taught by Tricia Riel
$100 for one class, $75 for a second class.
Classes run June 24 - June 28 (Monday - Friday)
Pageant on the Plaza! (supported by: Ivey Erene Hughes & Carl G. Lundgren Fund, a fund of the Humboldt Area Foundation) July 8 - 20
A wild two week adventure into outdoor performance and spectacle for kids ages 9 - 16.
Week one consist of four classes from 9 am - 4:30 pm in:
Movement for Outdoor Performance and Sorty Creation with Tricia Riel,
Music for Outdoor Performance with Gregg Moore,
Stilt Walking with Leslie Castellano and Anson Smith,
Giant Puppet Construction with James Hildebrandt
Week two consist of creating a show to perform on the Arcata Plaza on Saturday, July 20 during hte Farmer's Market!
$300 for two full weeks!
