Summer Youth Workshops

Super-fun theater arts classes for kids!

Classes: July 25 – July 29, 2016 (Monday-Friday)

Supervised lunch break: 12-12:30pm for kids staying the whole day (Bring you own lunch.)

After Care available until 5:30 pm each day for $5 an hour.

Fees: Full week one class (half day) is $100.  Full week two classes (full day) is $175.  (Deposit of one half fee is due with Registration.)

Classes for Ages 6 – 9

Clowning for Kids                                                                                                                            

9 am – Noon

Kids will have a great funny adventure into clowning! They will create their own original clown

characters and skits.  They will learn to work in cooperative teams to create

their own original pieces.

Great Adventures: Creative Drama!

12:30 – 3:30pm

Take a ride into a fantastic world of creative drama.  Kids will learn acting skills and learn to perform, as a whole group, a physical theater adventure story they write and create themselves.

Classes for Ages 10 – 14

Advanced Acting                                                                                                                                        

9am – Noon

Students will be cast in short written scenes designed to challenge and sharpen character acting skills. 

Street Art Or Mask Making and Performance                                                                                                                             

12:30 – 3:30pm

Street Art:  Create an outdoor art installation piece to become a permanent art display in the Creamery District!

Mask Making and Performance: Donvieve will teach participants how to create an original performance mask and then they will learn how to perform in them!  The class will finish with a short performance for parents on Friday!

    There cannot be enough of art! Summer workshops is a fascinating opportunity for students to develop their acting skills and have some fun. definitely supports such kind of extracurricular activity.
