Rose Armin-Hoiland

Rose_Armin-Hoiland_heashot_web.jpgRose Armin-Hoiland is thrilled to present “Gotta Have a Song,” her first show in Arcata since relocating to her adopted city of Oakland, California.  The show will be an exciting mix of soul, jazz, and funk, featuring talented musicians from both Humboldt County and the Bay Area: Aber Miller, Drew Mohr, Miles Lathan, and Joel Armin-Hoiland. Tickets at Wildberries or the door.

Upon moving to the Bay Area in 2012, Rose achieved her lifetime dream of becoming a member of the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir (OIGC), a 65-voice multicultural and multi-faith choir. OIGC is embarking on a three-country European tour this July. “Gotta Have a Song” is Rose’s main fundraising event for her trip. She appreciates all of the awesome hometown support, past and present.
